Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
leadtrack runs advertising on Facebook and Instagram for its customers. This policy explains what personal data we handle on this website and in the service, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
leadtrack is provided by Hackyard People AB, Kungsgatan 64, 111 22 Stockholm, Sweden. Write to hello@leadtrack.se with any question about your data.
When you visit this website
This website uses no cookies and no tracking, analytics or advertising. It's served by Cloudflare, which, for security and operations, processes the technical information your browser sends with every request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, status code, amount of data transferred, referring site, and browser and operating system. We don't use it to identify you or for marketing. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When you email us
If you write to us, we keep your name, email address and message in our email, and use them only to answer you. We don't send you marketing and don't sell or pass on your address.
Customers of the service
To run promotions for a customer, we process:
- Account details: the names and email addresses of the people who use the customer's account, and their roles.
- What's promoted: the texts, images, videos and web addresses the customer gives us or we make for them.
- Advertising data: the campaigns we create on Meta's platforms for the customer, and their results (spend, reach, impressions, clicks, views and conversions). Results are counts, not data about individual people.
- Connected Meta accounts: if a customer connects their own Facebook Page, Instagram account or ad account, the identifiers of those assets and the access the customer grants. Access tokens are encrypted, used only to run that customer's promotions, and never shown again.
- A log of our actions: every change we make on Meta's platforms and every action our staff take, to keep the service safe and accountable.
The legal basis is the contract with the customer. The data is kept while the customer's account exists and deleted when it's closed, except where accounting law requires us to keep records longer.
Visitors to our customers' websites
To measure results, a customer's website can tell us, and Meta, that a visitor did something, such as signing up. This happens only if the visitor has consented on that website. For these events, the customer is the controller and we process the data on their behalf.
- We store the name of the event (for example "sign-up"), its time, an event id and the fact that consent was given.
- So Meta can match the event to an ad, the website may also send us the visitor's email address, IP address, browser and Meta's own cookie values. We turn the email address into a one-way hash the moment it arrives and never store it as written. These identifiers are sent to Meta and then deleted, at the latest after one day.
- The customer's own privacy notice names the events and explains how to withdraw consent.
Who else handles the data
| Who | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting this website and the service; the service's database is stored in the EU | EU, and globally for the network |
| Meta Platforms Ireland | Showing the ads and measuring their results | EU and the United States |
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it's covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we have about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict its use or give you a copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@leadtrack.se; we answer within a month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Deleting your data
To have your data deleted, email hello@leadtrack.se from the address you use with us, or say which account or Facebook Page it concerns. We confirm when it's done.
If you connected Facebook or Instagram to leadtrack, you can also remove leadtrack's access yourself: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, and remove leadtrack. That stops our access; email us as well to have the data we already have deleted.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects our customers, we tell them before it takes effect.
